Thermostats, Mechanical and Electronic
Thermostats are used to control the temperature in an electrical enclosure, by operating a cooling or heating unit or signal device.
Available with Normally Open (NO), Normally Closed (NC), or Change-Over contact.
Normally Open: to switch on a fan when the temperature exceeds the setpoint, thereby increasing the service life of the fan and reducing the clogging of the filter.
Normally Closed: to switch off a heater when internal temperature rises above the setpoint.
Change-Over: to simultaneously switch off a heater and turn on a fan or signal device.
Dual thermostats: two independently operable devices into one compact assembly to simultaneously controlling heating, cooling or signaling devices.
Mechanical Thermostats
Ingress protection: IP20 according to IEC 60529
Sensor element: Bimetal
Contact resistance: < 10 mΩ
Service life: > 100,000 cycles
Mounting: By clip on 35mm DIN rail
Temperature Setting range: 0…+60°C
Electronic Thermostats
Ingress protection: IP20 according to IEC 60529
Sensor element: Internal sensor
Push-button operation with LED display
Contact resistance: Free with zero potential
4 Mounting options: DIN rail, Spacial SF profile, on cross rail or mounting plate
Temperature Setting range: -40°C…+80°C
Certification: UL / UR
Hygrostat and Hygrotherm
Hygrostats detect the level of humidity in the air inside the enclosure and operate the cooling or heating units when relative humidity exceeds the setpoint, to prevent condensation.
Hygrotherm dually detects humidity and controls temperature in the enclosure.
Sensor element: Internal sensor
Push-button operation with LED display
Setpoint adjustable from 20% – 80% RH
Temperature Setting range: -40°C…+80°C
