ST-EE ATEX Mild Steel Enclosures
ETA wall-mounting enclosures ST…EE and ECOR…EEX comply with the European Directive 2014/34/UE that aims to ensure the free circulation of the products concerned in EU countries, and applies to equipment and protective systems to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX), for the presence of flammable gases, vapours, mists or dusts.
According to the reference standards EN60079-0; 7 and 60079-31 boxes are “electric enclosures” classified for category II and zones 1, 2, 21, 22 for gas and dust (GD) with protection method EX-e, EX-tb. Protection methods are based on the concept of prevention. To comply with this, the directive establishes high structural standards and restrictive features of equipment and components, and strict periodic testing of the approved products under UNI EN13980 and ISO 9001.

Robust welded upper and lower frames of 1-1.5mm profiles with 18 bends providing the strongest frame profile on the market.
4 Vertical uprights screwed together with solid steel integral corner connectors.
Corners fixed by 8 screws for easy assembly.
A double system of perforated squares and holes in the profile allows accessories to be installed using self-tapping TORX T30 M6 screws or cage nuts.
Load-bearing of the basic frame structure up to 1000 kg distributed in its volume.
Totally symmetric design of the profiles allows attachment of doors, side panels and rear cover on any plane.
