ETA ATEX-Certified Wall-mounting Enclosures

General
ETA wall-mounting enclosures ST…EE and ECOR…EEX comply with the European Directive 2014/34/UE that aims to ensure the free circulation of the products concerned in EU countries, and applies to equipment and protective systems to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX), for the presence of flammable gases, vapours, mists or dusts.
According to the reference standards EN60079-0; 7 and 60079-31 boxes are “electric enclosures” classified for category II and zones 1, 2, 21, 22 for gas and dust (GD) with protection method EX-e, EX-tb. Protection methods are based on the concept of prevention. To comply with this, the directive establishes high structural standards and restrictive features of equipment and components, and strict periodic testing of the approved products under UNI EN13980 and ISO 9001.

ETA ST..EE Mild Steel Wall-mounting Enclosures

Characteristics
Enclosure manufactured from sheet steel supplied without cable entry plate.
Galvanised steel mounting plate with slotted corners.
Door with 3mm double bar key lock of chrome-zinc alloy, and continuous polyurethane foam seal.
External anti-rotation and anti-slip earth stud M6 copper-plated steel, welded onto the enclosure.
It is a requirement for the enclosure to be installed by means of 4 wall-mounting brackets.

Galvanised mounting plate.
Hardware for earth connection and mounting plate.

Characteristics
Enclosure manufactured from satin finish stainless steel 304L sheet (316L on request) without cable entry plate.
Galvanised steel mounting plate with slotted corners.
Hinges in stainless steel.
External anti-rotation and anti-slip earth stud M6 copper-plated steel, welded onto the enclosure.
It is a requirement for the enclosure to be installed by means of 4 wall-mounting brackets.
